SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 11TH (9:00AM - 10:30AM)
Sweat it out to release tension and stress, leaving you clear, focused, and relaxed. Colleen and Rodney have designed this class to offer a vigorous practice that is sequenced with purpose and health in mind. A sweaty practice is followed by appropriate restorative poses, pranayama and meditation. This overall balanced class incorporates both western and eastern perspectives of health and wellness.

OPEN TWISTS TO BACKBENDS
Experience and learn some of the principles in sequencing and how open twists are great preparations for backbends. How are these poses related and how do they integrate into a seamless sequence? We will work toward deeper backbends by using open twists as preparatory poses. See and feel how the architecture of open twists complement the spinal movements of back bending. Through understanding the relationship between these two categories of poses so much is revealed about each separate category.

Experience a restorative practice that will leave you peaceful and refreshed and with tools you can incorporate into your everyday life. Feel the magic of restorative poses intermixed with essential oil therapy, Reiki, in-body meditations, and breath awareness to leave you feeling the deepest relaxation of your life. The Urban Zen method is spreading through the health care industry and lays the foundation for optimal wellness.
